At my last doctor visit, I saw Dr. Beaver, he measured my belly and to him I was measuring smaller than he would have liked. Mind you, the last two docs said the same (that I measured small) but only by 1cm. No big deal they said. I think Beaver just didn't measure me right. The nurse said I only gained 12 lbs this point too and I know that is wrong. They're going to wonder why the scale says 135 next time when it read 124 last time. lol I digress...so he ordered an ultrasound to make sure the baby was growing well and my fluid level is okay.
We went Monday for the sonogram and the baby is doing awesome! He is about 5.9 lbs and the fluids are all well and good. He is head down so hopefully he will stay that way.
We also went for our hospital tour yesterday and I loved the hospital. It was so quiet in there and they were almost full. The rooms are huge, well L&D rooms anyway and the hospital has many tools to help through labor. Very convienient and friendly. I'm getting excited!!
I go back next week for my checkup at 36 weeks. I think they will do the GBS test. Hope I'm negative so I don't have to get on antibiotics during labor. Time will tell.
Need to get some more sleep!
